“Eclipse is an open source community whose projects are focused on building an open development platform comprised of extensible frameworks, tools and runtimes for building, deploying and managing software across the life cycle. A large and vibrant ecosystem of major technology vendors, innovative start-ups, universities, research institutions and individuals extend, complement and support the Eclipse platform.” See http://www.eclipse.org for more information.
The Macraigor Eclipse Board Test environment consists of:
- Macraigor IF Interface, Drivers, and Libraries.
- Example Eclipse C board test projects, tested on manufacturer’s evaluation boards using the version of the software tools we make available on our web site’s Eclipse page.
- Other Macraigor Utilities (OCD Commander, Scan Chain Analyzer, usbDemon Finder) that can be run from inside the Eclipse environment.
We make this environment freely available for use by the customers of our JTAG devices.
The embedded target is controlled either from the Eclipse IDE using the following tool chain:
Eclipse (C Board test program) <-> Macraigor IF <-> Drivers <-> Macraigor JTAG Device <-> Target CPU
OR from your running C exectuable using the following too chain …
C Board Test executable <-> Macraigor IF <-> Drivers <-> Macraigor JTAG Device <-> Target CPU
